Production studio of “100 MOV” Translation Centre performs professional adaptation (voice-over and dubbing) of video materials into Ukrainian/Russian and foreign languages, including the work of translators and editors, actors, designers, a director and sound engineer. ADAPTATION OF VIDEO MATERIALS CONSISTS OF SEVERAL STAGES:
- “transcription from sound” by the translator, if a client has no so-called “scripts”
- translation
- proofreading and adaptation of the text for further voice-over or dubbing
- voice reading by professional actors
- adaptation of graphics — replacement of names, titles, captions, etc.
- recording the soundtrack by a sound engineer and inserting it using the original material

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VOICE-OVER AND DUBBING?
DUBBING (lip-synch)
Complete replacement of the original (foreign language) sound track with dialogues, voice-over texts – the actors’ words are translated and read in such a way that they coincide with the articulation of the actors in the corresponding video. This is the work of dubbing editors, and it is a much more complicated job from a creative and technical point of view.
VOICE-OVER
Overlaying a new sound track to an existing one. The viewer hears a muffled original track, over which the translation is read. Typically, 1 or 2 actors (female and male voice) are involved for all characters. Any video can be voiced-over, even if there are no split sound tracks.
LOCALIZATION OF CORPORATE VIDEO MATERIALS
Voice-over and dubbing services are used not only for translating movies and cartoons for cinema and television, but also for localizing corporate promotional material, presentations, commercials, online and computer games, educational materials, etc. If the video material does not require voice reading, our video designers adapt the graphic elements to the required language, upload subtitles, replace fonts and more.

TRANSLATION OF VIDEO MATERIALS “FROM SOUND”, TRANSCRIPTION FROM SOUND
Transcription from sound is a professional transcript and typing of audio and video recording, such as lectures, webinars, seminars, conferences, speeches, etc.
This service also includes editing text, removing “junk words”, repetitions and other stylistic flaws.
Transcription from sound is available for both Ukrainian and Russian, as well as main foreign languages. We also translate a decrypted sound track, such as a presentation text, clips, or other video materials.
